X-Story makes some of the most satisfying realistic dildos on the market, and after handling a lot of product in this category, that's not a claim we throw around lightly. The material quality is noticeably better than most mid-range alternatives, with a skin-like texture that actually holds up over time rather than degrading after a few months. Most people don't realize that the firmness-to-flexibility ratio matters as much as size when it comes to realistic feel, and X-Story gets that balance right. Browse the full range below, and if you're unsure which model fits your needs, our sexology-trained customer service team is genuinely worth contacting.

X-Story builds products for people who want reliable performance without paying premium prices for a logo. The lineup skews toward masturbators and sleeves for solo use, but there are couples' options in the mix too. The materials are generally TPE or ABS plastic depending on the product type, TPE for the softer, skin-like textures in their sleeves, harder plastic for vibrating components. TPE feels more realistic than silicone for most users, though it does require a bit more attention when cleaning. That's a real tradeoff worth knowing before you buy.

The internal textures in X-Story masturbators tend to be more varied than you'd expect at this price point. Some models use ribbed channels, others go for a tighter nub pattern. Neither is objectively better, it comes down to what kind of stimulation you prefer. If you've never tried a textured sleeve before, start with something mid-intensity rather than the most aggressive option in the range.

The main decision is usually between a compact, closed-end sleeve and an open-ended tunnel design. Closed-end models create more suction and pressure, which a lot of people prefer. Open-ended ones are easier to clean and work better for users on the larger end of the size range. X-Story offers both, so it's worth checking the product dimensions before ordering.

Vibrating versions add a motor, usually positioned near the base or mid-channel, and run on batteries or USB charging depending on the model. Battery-powered options are cheaper upfront but cost more over time. Rechargeable models from X-Story tend to have stronger motors and more consistent vibration patterns, so if you're choosing between the two, the rechargeable version is usually the better long-term pick.

One thing that catches people off guard: always use water-based lubricant with TPE products. Oil-based or silicone-based lubes can degrade the material over time, which shortens the product's life and can affect how it feels. A good water-based lube makes a bigger difference to the experience than most people expect.

TPE is porous, which means bacteria can get into the material if you don't clean it properly after each use. Warm water and a mild, unscented soap work fine. Rinse thoroughly, then let it air dry completely before storing, putting it away damp is the fastest way to ruin it. Some people dust the inside lightly with cornstarch once it's dry to keep the texture from getting tacky. That's a small detail that extends the life of the product noticeably.

Don't use toy cleaners with alcohol in them on TPE. Alcohol dries out the material and causes it to crack faster. Stick to soap and water, and you'll get a lot more use out of it.

Storage matters too. Keep the sleeve in a clean, dry place away from other toys, especially silicone ones. TPE and silicone can react when stored in contact with each other, which damages both. A small cloth pouch or the original packaging works well.

We've carried X-Story for a while now, and it holds up well as a solid entry-level to mid-range option. If you're looking for something more premium, brands like Fleshlight or Tenga offer more sophisticated internal structures and longer-lasting materials, but at a noticeably higher price. X-Story fills the gap for buyers who want something better than the cheapest option without committing to a flagship product.

For couples looking at X-Story's accessories and rings, the fit and flexibility are generally good. Cock rings from the range are typically made from stretchy TPE or silicone, which is safer and more comfortable than rigid plastic options. Sizing still matters, too tight causes discomfort, too loose and it doesn't do much. Most X-Story rings are designed to fit a wide range of sizes, but check the product specs if you're unsure.

Yes, X-Story is a reasonable starting point. The products are straightforward to use, priced accessibly, and don't require a lot of prior experience to get value from. If you're new to masturbators or sleeves specifically, an X-Story model with a mid-intensity texture is a sensible first choice.

Always use a water-based lubricant with X-Story sleeves and masturbators. The TPE material used in most of their products is not compatible with silicone-based or oil-based lubes, those can break down the material over time and shorten the product's lifespan.

Rinse with warm water and use a mild, unscented soap after every use. Avoid alcohol-based cleaners, which dry out TPE. Let the product air dry completely before storing it. A light dusting of cornstarch on the inside once dry helps maintain the texture and prevents tackiness.

Fleshlight and Tenga are generally considered premium options with more refined internal textures and more durable materials. X-Story sits below them in price and in overall build quality, but it delivers solid performance for the cost. If budget is a priority, X-Story is a good choice. If you want the best available, Fleshlight or Tenga are worth the extra spend.
