Sexy Lingerie with Open Crotch

49 products

Open crotch lingerie is one of those things that sounds more complicated than it is. The idea is simple: you stay dressed, you look good, and access is already built in. At Mshop we've carried sexy open crotch styles and crotchless lingerie for over 40 years, and the range has grown a lot since the early lace-and-elastic days. Right now you'll find sheer bodystockings, open-cup teddies, and full dessous sets that actually sit flat under clothes without bunching or shifting. The cut on most modern pieces is tighter than people expect, which means the opening stays put. If previous styles felt cheap or gimmicky, the newer fits are genuinely different. Browse the full range below and filter by size, material, or brand.

Most lingerie is designed to come off. Open crotch lingerie takes a different approach: the garment stays on, and the cut does the work. That shift sounds small, but it changes the entire dynamic of how a piece is worn. The opening sits at the gusset seam, so from the front the piece looks like any other bodysuit or teddy. The effect is only revealed when it matters.

The quality of the opening finish is something a lot of buyers overlook. Cheap versions have raw edges that fray after a few washes. Better-made pieces have a reinforced hem or clean-stitched seam around the opening, which holds its shape and feels more comfortable against skin. If you're buying online, check the product description for any mention of seam finishing, it's a reliable indicator of overall construction quality.

Lingerie open crotch styles have moved well past novelty status. They're a staple in couples' wardrobes now, partly because they work for extended wear, not just a single occasion. A well-cut bodysuit in this style can be worn under a dress all evening without any visible difference from the outside.

Bodystockings are the most versatile option in this category. A full-length fishnet or sheer nylon stocking covers the whole body while leaving the relevant areas accessible, and because the fabric stretches, sizing is more forgiving than with structured pieces. They're also among the easiest to care for.

Teddies and bodies are the next most popular type. These are cut like a one-piece swimsuit, usually in lace, satin, or a lace-and-mesh combination. The open crotch version looks identical to a standard teddy from the front. Some styles also feature an open-cup bra section, which gives a different kind of exposure without removing the garment.

Open butt lingerie adds a second access point at the rear, typically through a cut-out panel or split seam. These styles are particularly popular in BDSM and bondage contexts, where full access matters, you'll find a strong overlap with our BDSM collection if that's the direction you're going.

Harness-style bodies are a more structured option. Straps replace fabric panels, leaving large sections of skin exposed while still framing the body. The open crotch is built into the design rather than being a modification of a standard cut. These tend to run smaller and less forgiving on fit, so check size guides carefully.

For buyers specifically looking for underwear-style pieces rather than full bodies, our open panties page covers briefs, thongs, and hipsters with an open gusset, a more everyday option that's easier to wear under regular clothing.

Lace is the most common material in this category, and for good reason. It photographs well, feels soft against skin, and has enough stretch to accommodate a range of body shapes. The downside is that cheaper lace can scratch, particularly around the edges of the opening. If you have sensitive skin, look for pieces described as "soft lace" or those with a cotton-lined interior.

Fishnet is more durable than it looks. A good fishnet bodystocking can survive dozens of washes if you use a mesh laundry bag and cold water. The open weave means it's not particularly warm, which makes it better suited to indoor wear. Fishnet also tends to be the most size-inclusive option because the stretch is significant.

Satin and wet-look fabrics give a more polished, less revealing aesthetic. The fabric sits against the skin rather than showing through it, which some people prefer. These pieces tend to be more structured and hold their shape better, but they're also less forgiving on fit. Satin doesn't breathe well, so extended wear can be uncomfortable.

Microfibre blends sit somewhere between lace and satin, smooth, slightly stretchy, and more comfortable for longer wear. Less common in this category but worth looking for if comfort is a priority.

Sizing in lingerie is genuinely inconsistent across brands. A medium from one manufacturer can fit like a small from another. The most reliable approach is to check the specific size chart for each piece rather than going by your usual clothing size. Pay particular attention to the bust measurement if you're buying a teddy or bodysuit, that's where most fit issues happen.

For bodystockings, height matters as much as width. A stocking sized for someone 165cm will bunch uncomfortably on someone 175cm, and the gusset positioning shifts accordingly. Most product listings include a height range, use it.

The open crotch positioning varies between styles. Some have a wider opening, some a narrower one. Some are positioned further forward, some further back. If this matters to you, look for detailed product photos or descriptions rather than relying on the category thumbnail.

Sexy open crotch styles with boning or structured cups need more precise sizing than stretch-fabric pieces. If you're between sizes on a structured bodysuit, size up, you can always adjust straps, but you can't add fabric.

Hand washing in cool water with a gentle detergent is the safest option for almost everything in this category. Machine washing on a delicate cycle in a mesh bag works for most fishnet and microfibre pieces, but lace and satin are better off hand-washed. Never tumble dry, the heat damages elastic and distorts lace.

Store lingerie flat or loosely folded rather than compressed. Lace in particular loses its shape when packed tightly for extended periods. If a piece has underwiring, store it so the cups aren't crushed.

The open crotch seam is the most vulnerable part of the garment. Check it after each wash for any signs of fraying or loosening. A small amount of clear fabric glue applied to a fraying edge can extend the life of a piece significantly.

If you've been searching for open ouvert lingerie, you're looking at the same category, "ouvert" is the French term that appears on many European product labels and in search results across the Nordic region. The construction is identical: a garment with an open gusset designed for access without removal.

Similarly, open pussy lingerie and the broader term lingerie open crotch both refer to this same style. Search terminology varies a lot in this category, partly because the products sit at the intersection of lingerie and adult accessories, and different retailers use different language. Whatever term brought you here, you're in the right place.

Open crotch lingerie is any lingerie garment, bodysuit, teddy, bodystocking, or set, that has an opening at the gusset rather than a closed panel. The garment is worn normally; the opening provides access without the need to undress. From the outside, most styles look identical to standard lingerie. The difference is only visible when the garment is worn.

It depends on the style and material. Bodystockings in fishnet or microfibre are generally comfortable for several hours of wear. Structured pieces with boning or underwiring are less suited to extended use. The key factor is the finish around the opening, a clean, reinforced seam is much more comfortable than a raw edge. Check product descriptions for seam details before buying.

Open crotch refers to an opening at the front gusset. Open butt lingerie has an additional cut-out or split at the rear, leaving the buttocks exposed or accessible. Some styles combine both. Open butt designs are common in BDSM and bondage-adjacent lingerie, while standard open crotch styles are more widely worn across different contexts.

Always use the specific size chart for the piece you're buying, sizing varies significantly between brands. For bodystockings, check the height range as well as the width measurements, since the gusset positioning shifts with height. For structured bodies and teddies, focus on the bust measurement first. If you're between sizes, size up on structured pieces and size down on stretch fabrics.

"Ouvert" is the French word for "open" and appears on many European lingerie labels and product descriptions. Open ouvert lingerie means exactly the same thing as open crotch or crotchless lingerie, a garment with an open gusset. The term is common in Nordic and continental European retail, which is why it appears in search results alongside the English terms.
