Nexus Sex Toys, Prostate Massagers & More

Most vibrator brands treat the prostate as an afterthought. Nexus built their entire catalogue around it. The brand was founded in the UK with a specific focus on male anatomy, and that focus shows in the curve angles, the motor placement, and the way their toys are sized. The G-Play Plus line, for example, comes in multiple sizes precisely because the distance between the perineum and the prostate varies between people, that kind of anatomical thinking is rare.

The materials are medical-grade silicone across the board. No jelly, no TPE blends, no ambiguous "body-safe" labelling without substance behind it. Silicone is non-porous, easy to clean, and holds warmth well during use. It's the right call for anything going near sensitive tissue, and Nexus doesn't cut corners here.

Battery life and motor quality are also genuinely good. Some budget prostate toys have motors that feel more like a phone notification than actual stimulation. The dual-motor setup in models like the Nexus Simul8 Vibrating Dual Motor runs independent vibration patterns at each end, which means you can tune the anal and perineal stimulation separately. That's not a gimmick, it makes a real difference.

The catalogue splits roughly into three areas: prostate massagers, dual-stimulation toys, and anal training sets.

The G-Play Plus series is the most accessible entry point. The Nexus G-Play Plus Medium and the Nexus G-Play Plus Large are shaped for internal prostate contact with a curved head that sits against the gland rather than just near it. The difference between medium and large isn't dramatic in terms of length, it's more about the head diameter and how much pressure you want against the prostate. Most people find medium the better starting point unless they already have experience with internal toys.

The Simul8 line is for people who want simultaneous internal and external stimulation. The Simul8 Stroker Edition adds a stroking sleeve component, making it one of the more complete solo experiences in the catalogue. It's a more complex toy and takes a bit of getting used to, but the payoff is significant.

The Nexus Bendz Bendable Vibrator Anal Probe Edition is worth mentioning separately because the flexible shaft is genuinely useful, you can adjust the angle to match your anatomy rather than working around a fixed curve. Handy if standard prostate toy shapes haven't quite hit the right spot for you.

For beginners, the Nexus Anal Beginner Set is a practical choice. It includes multiple sizes so you can work up gradually, which is the right approach for anal play regardless of experience level.

The honest answer is: start smaller than you think you need to. The prostate is roughly 5-8 cm inside the rectum, and most Nexus toys are designed to reach it without requiring significant insertion depth. A toy that's too large makes relaxation harder, and relaxation is most of the work with prostate stimulation.

If you're new to this, the G-Play Plus Medium or the beginner set are the sensible choices. If you've used prostate toys before and want more intensity, the Revo or the Simul8 line will give you more motor power and more stimulation points.

One thing people often overlook: the perineum. Several Nexus models have an external arm that presses against the perineum (the area between the scrotum and anus) while the internal component works internally. This dual-contact approach produces noticeably stronger results than internal stimulation alone. If that sounds appealing, look at the Simul8 models specifically.

Waterproof rating matters too. Most Nexus toys are at least splash-proof, but if shower or bath use is something you want, check the specific product listing before buying.

Silicone toys are easy to clean but there are a couple of things worth knowing. First, silicone-based lubricants degrade silicone over time, use water-based lube with all Nexus products. Second, even though silicone is non-porous, cleaning after anal use should be thorough. Warm water and a mild unscented soap, or a dedicated toy cleaner, works well. Rinse completely and let the toy air dry before storing.

Don't store silicone toys touching each other for long periods. Different silicone formulations can react and become tacky. A small cloth pouch or the original packaging keeps things clean and separate.

Charging: most current Nexus models use magnetic USB charging. The connection point is usually on the base. Make sure it's fully dry before charging, this is basic but worth saying.

Yes, genuinely. The G-Play Plus Medium and the Nexus Anal Beginner Set are both designed with first-time users in mind. The sizes are manageable, the curves are anatomically considered, and the controls are straightforward. That said, any anal toy requires patience and the right lubricant, water-based, and plenty of it.

Water-based lubricant only. Nexus toys are made from medical-grade silicone, and silicone-based lubricants will gradually break down the surface of the toy. Water-based lube is compatible, easy to clean up, and works well for anal play where reapplication is sometimes needed.

The main difference is the diameter of the head rather than the overall length. The Large provides more pressure against the prostate, which some people prefer for stronger stimulation. If you're new to prostate toys, the Medium is the better starting point, it's easier to insert comfortably and still delivers effective stimulation.

Most Nexus models are at least splash-proof, and several are fully waterproof. Check the individual product listing for the specific IPX rating before using in water. The magnetic charging port needs to be completely dry before you plug in regardless of the waterproof rating.
