Mona vibrators have a loyal following for good reason: the curved shaft and targeted tip make it genuinely easier to find what works, without a lot of trial and error. Lelo designed the Mona line with internal stimulation in mind, and the difference in shape compared to a standard straight vibrator is noticeable from the first use. At Mshop, we stock the full Mona range with 1-2 day delivery across the Nordics, packed in a plain anonymous box. If you've been underwhelmed by vibrators before, the Mona 2 in particular is worth a serious look before writing off the category entirely.

Mona products sit in a category where design and function genuinely matter. The shape isn't decorative, it's functional, built around how the body actually responds to stimulation. A lot of toys look impressive in photos and disappoint in practice. Mona is one of the lines where that gap is smaller than average.

The materials used in these products are body-safe, which sounds like a baseline expectation but isn't always the reality across the market. If you've ever bought something cheap and noticed an odd smell or a tacky surface texture, you already know why this matters. With Mona, that's not a concern you need to carry.

One thing buyers sometimes overlook: the size and weight of a toy affects how you actually use it, not just how it looks on a spec sheet. Mona models tend to be sized for real-world use, not so large they're awkward, not so small they feel like an afterthought.

The honest answer is that the right choice depends on what kind of stimulation you're after. Clitoral, internal, or a combination, Mona covers different needs across its range, and the differences between models aren't just cosmetic.

If you're newer to vibrators, start with something that has a straightforward control layout. Some models in this line have multiple intensity levels and patterns, which is great once you know what you like, but can feel overwhelming if you're still figuring that out. There's no shame in starting simple.

For people who've used vibrators before and want more precision, look at the shape of the tip. A more pointed or curved tip gives you targeted stimulation; a broader head spreads sensation across a wider area. Neither is objectively better, it's a question of what your body responds to.

Waterproof models are worth considering even if you don't plan to use them in the bath. They're just easier to clean properly, and hygiene matters more than most product descriptions acknowledge.

Silicone is the gold standard for toy materials, and most Mona products use it. It's non-porous, which means bacteria can't get into the surface the way they can with cheaper materials like jelly rubber or PVC. It also warms to body temperature quickly, which makes a real difference in how a toy feels during use.

Motor quality is harder to assess from a product page, but you can get a rough sense from the noise level and the type of vibration. A buzzy, surface-level vibration is less satisfying than a deeper, rumbly one, and cheaper motors tend toward the former. Mona's motors lean toward the rumbly end of the spectrum, which is why they're popular with people who've tried a few different brands.

Rechargeable batteries are standard across most of the line. That's the right call, disposable batteries are wasteful and the performance drops as they drain, which is genuinely annoying mid-use.

Silicone toys should be washed with mild soap and warm water after every use. If the toy is fully waterproof and has no motor (i.e., a non-vibrating silicone toy), you can boil it or run it through the dishwasher on the top rack. For vibrating models, stick to hand-washing, water and electronics don't mix well even in waterproof designs, and boiling will damage the motor.

Store it somewhere clean and dry, away from other silicone toys. Two silicone surfaces stored in direct contact can degrade each other over time, a small fabric pouch solves this completely.

Use water-based lubricant with silicone toys. Silicone-based lube can break down the surface of silicone toys over time, which is one of those facts that doesn't get mentioned enough on product pages. Water-based is always the safe choice.

Yes, several models in the Mona range work well for people who are new to vibrators. Look for a model with a simple one-button or two-button interface and a moderate size. You can always move to something more feature-rich once you know what you like, starting simple is rarely a mistake.

Use a water-based lubricant. Silicone-based lubricants can degrade the surface of silicone toys over time, even if the effect isn't immediately visible. Water-based lube is compatible with all toy materials and is the safest option across the board.

Yes. Mona products are made from body-safe materials, primarily medical-grade silicone. This means the surface is non-porous and won't harbour bacteria the way cheaper materials can. Always check the product description for the specific material if you have sensitivities.
