Dragon Spray

Dragon spray is one of those products that sounds gimmicky until you actually try it. Designed to delay ejaculation by lightly desensitizing the penis, it gives you more control without killing the sensation entirely, which is the part most delay sprays get wrong. A few pumps, a short wait, and you're good to go. Simple. At Mshop we've carried these for years and the feedback is consistently positive, especially from couples who want to extend things without making a whole production out of it. Delivered in 1-2 days in a plain, anonymous box, no label that gives anything away.

A delay spray works by delivering a small dose of a mild anaesthetic (usually lidocaine or benzocaine) to the skin of the penis. The result is reduced sensitivity, which slows the path to orgasm without making sex feel numb or mechanical. That balance is the whole point, and it's also where cheap products tend to fall short.

Apply the spray a few minutes before sex, let it absorb, and wipe away any excess before contact with a partner. That last step matters more than most product descriptions admit: if the spray transfers to your partner's skin, they'll feel the numbing effect too, which is rarely what either of you wants. A little goes a long way. Starting with fewer sprays than the label suggests is a smarter approach than overdoing it on the first try.

One thing worth knowing: lidocaine-based formulas tend to absorb faster than benzocaine ones. If you're in a hurry, that distinction actually matters.

Not all delay sprays are the same, even when the active ingredient is identical. Concentration levels vary, and so does the delivery mechanism, some come in fine-mist formats, others in pump sprays that give you more control over dosage. If you've never used a desensitising spray before, a lower-concentration formula is the sensible starting point. You can always work up from there.

Condom compatibility is another thing to check. Most modern delay sprays are condom-safe once absorbed, but if you're using latex condoms, confirm the formula doesn't contain oils that could degrade the material. Water-based formulas sidestep this entirely.

Scent is a smaller consideration, but it's real. Some sprays have a faint medicinal smell that lingers; others are essentially odourless. If that kind of detail matters to you, it's worth reading the product description carefully before buying.

A delay spray pairs well with a good lubricant, the two don't interfere with each other as long as you apply the spray first and let it absorb. Water-based lubes are the safest pairing across the board. If you're also using a cock ring to help maintain erection quality, the combination of ring plus delay spray is genuinely popular for a reason: they address different aspects of the experience and complement each other without overlap.

Some people use delay sprays during solo sessions to practise pacing before partnered sex. That's a legitimate use case and one that doesn't get mentioned often enough. It gives you a low-pressure way to understand how your body responds to the product before the stakes feel higher.

Store your spray at room temperature, away from direct sunlight. Most formulas have a shelf life of a couple of years, but once opened, using it within twelve months is the sensible rule of thumb.

If you have sensitive skin or a known allergy to local anaesthetics, patch-test on a small area first. Reactions are uncommon but not unheard of. Anyone with a latex allergy should also double-check the full ingredient list, not just the active compound.

Delay sprays are not a treatment for premature ejaculation in any clinical sense, they manage the symptom in the moment rather than addressing underlying causes. If the issue is persistent and affecting your quality of life, talking to a doctor or a sex therapist is a more useful long-term step than relying on a spray indefinitely. That's not a knock on the product; it's just an honest framing of what it does.

Most delay sprays take between 5 and 15 minutes to absorb properly. Lidocaine-based formulas tend to act faster than benzocaine ones. Apply it, wait for it to absorb, wipe away any excess, and then you're good to go. Rushing that absorption window is the most common reason people feel the spray isn't working.

It can, if you don't wipe away the excess before contact. Once the spray has fully absorbed and you've removed the surface residue, transfer to a partner is minimal. Using a condom adds another layer of protection against any unintended transfer.

Yes, in most cases. Apply the spray, let it absorb fully, then put the condom on. Water-based formulas are the safest choice with latex condoms since they won't degrade the material. Always check the product's ingredient list if you're unsure.

Start with fewer than the maximum dose recommended on the label, one or two sprays is a reasonable starting point for first-time users. You can increase gradually once you know how your body responds. Using too much on the first try often results in reduced sensation that feels more like numbness than control.

For most people, yes, delay sprays with lidocaine or benzocaine are well-tolerated with regular use. If you notice skin irritation, reduce frequency or try a lower-concentration formula. Anyone with a known sensitivity to local anaesthetics should consult a doctor before using any desensitising product.
