Cleaning

Clean Proper Finn immediately after use with antibacterial soap and hot water. Sterilize before storage — boil for 10 minutes or use medical-grade sterilizing solution.

Store in a clean, dry location. Many users keep urethral sounds in dedicated cases to prevent surface scratches that could harbour bacteria.

Inspect the surface before each use. Even minor scratches or rough spots can cause urethral damage. If the surface is no longer perfectly smooth, replace the sound.
