The FF Spider Gag is a ring gag designed for those who already know what it feels like to have their speech taken away. Unlike a ball that fills the mouth, this steel ring holds your jaw open — a more exposed, more vulnerable sensation. The 4.5 cm opening is wide enough to create the psychological weight of being accessible, but not so extreme that it becomes uncomfortable quickly.

The steel ring sits behind the teeth, secured by four thin metal bars that prevent it from sliding further back. It stays exactly where you place it, and the wearer can't push it out with their tongue. That loss of control is the point.

Intensity & Experience Level

This is a medium-intensity gag. If you've only used ball gags before, a ring gag is a step up — it keeps the mouth open continuously, which feels more restrictive over time and can increase saliva flow. You can't swallow as easily. That's part of the experience, but it also means this isn't ideal for beginners.

Recommended for couples who have already established safe signals (since speech is impossible). A tap-out gesture or a held object that can be dropped works well.

Material & Quality

The ring and bars are made from smooth steel — cold to the touch at first, but it warms quickly. The metal has no rough edges or welding seams that press against teeth or gums. The strap is a black leather-look material with a metal buckle.

Steel is non-porous, easy to clean, and won't degrade over time. It's also firm — this gag doesn't flex or give, which is part of its psychological impact.

Fit & Adjustment

The strap adjusts via 10 holes and fits heads up to 59.5 cm in circumference. The buckle fastens at the back, so you can tighten it snugly without the wearer being able to reach it themselves. There's enough adjustment range to fit most adults, but if you have a particularly small head or jaw, check the ring diameter first — 4.5 cm is fairly standard but not one-size-fits-all.

The ring sits best when positioned just behind the teeth, not pressing against them but resting in the space between teeth and lips.

How to Use It

Before placing the gag, agree on a non-verbal safe signal. The wearer won't be able to speak clearly, and humming or nodding may be difficult depending on position.

Slide the ring behind the front teeth, then fasten the strap at the back of the head. Start with a looser setting for the first few minutes — jaw muscles tire faster than you expect when held open. You can tighten it once the wearer has adjusted.

Saliva will pool and may drip. That's normal with ring gags. Keep a towel nearby if you're on furniture you care about, or lean into the aesthetic — it's part of the vulnerability.

Remove the gag slowly. The jaw may feel stiff after extended wear, so give time to close the mouth gently rather than snapping it shut.

Cleaning & Storage

Wash the steel ring and bars with warm water and mild soap, or use a toy cleaner. Dry thoroughly before storing to prevent any tarnishing of the metal. Wipe the strap with a damp cloth — don't soak it, as this can weaken the material over time.

Store flat or hanging, not crumpled in a drawer. The strap will last longer if it's not constantly creased in the same spot.
