FF Spider Gag
This steel ring gag is designed for those who've used mouth gags before and want something more exposing. The 4.5 cm ring sits behind the teeth, keeping the mouth held open while the four spider bars prevent the ring from sliding too far back. It creates a controlled vulnerability — the wearer can't close their mouth or speak clearly, but breathing remains unrestricted.
The openness invites interaction. Unlike ball gags that muffle and block, a ring gag leaves the mouth accessible while still removing control. It's a different kind of power exchange — visible, intimate, and psychologically intense.
Intensity & Experience Level
Medium to Intense. This is not a first gag. The 4.5 cm diameter is substantial, and the steel construction makes it unyielding. If you've only used soft silicone ball gags, this will feel significantly more challenging. The jaw is held wide, and there's no give in the material.
Recommended for couples who've established clear communication and safe signals. Because speech is restricted, agree on non-verbal safe signals before use — two quick taps or a held object that can be dropped work well.
Material & Quality
The ring and spider bars are metal — smooth, firm, and cool to the touch. The construction is rigid, which is what makes it effective but also what requires caution. Check the inside edges before first use; they should be smooth without sharp points.
The head strap is adjustable faux leather with a buckle closure. It's functional rather than luxurious, designed to hold position securely without unnecessary bulk.
Fit & Adjustment
The strap adjusts via 10 holes and fits head circumferences up to 59.5 cm. Measure around the widest part of the head (typically just above the ears and across the forehead) to check fit before purchase.
The ring sits behind the teeth, not in front of them. This positioning keeps it secure — the teeth act as an anchor point, and the spider bars prevent it from being pushed further into the mouth. First-time wearers often try to push it out instinctively; the design prevents this while still allowing safe breathing.
How to Use It
Establish your communication system first. Agree on a non-verbal safe signal — humming a specific pattern, holding a ball that can be dropped, or a series of hand taps. Test it before you begin.
To put it on: position the ring behind the front teeth, then fasten the strap at the back of the head. Start with a looser setting for the first few minutes to let the wearer adjust, then tighten if needed. The jaw will fatigue faster than with a ball gag due to the held-open position.
Start with shorter sessions — 10 to 15 minutes — and build duration gradually. Jaw soreness is normal afterward, especially at first. Drooling is inevitable and part of the experience; have towels ready.
Remove it slowly. The wearer's jaw may feel stiff, so give them time to close their mouth gently and work the jaw muscles before speaking.
Cleaning & Storage
Wash the metal ring and spider bars with warm water and mild soap after each use, or use a toy cleaner suitable for metal. Dry thoroughly to prevent any surface oxidation, especially where the metal meets the strap hardware.
The strap can be wiped down with a damp cloth. If it becomes heavily soiled, a leather cleaner designed for fetish gear works well, but avoid soaking it.
Store flat or hanging to prevent the strap from creasing permanently. Keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, which can dry out and crack the strap material over time.
