Electrode Gel Adhesive

Some electro pads don't come with their own adhesive layer — they rely on conductive gel to both stick to skin and transmit the current. This is that gel. It's not a lubricant. It's an adhesive that conducts electricity, designed specifically for reusable electrode pads that have lost their stick or never had any to begin with.

If your electro pads slide around, don't make full contact, or deliver uneven sensation, this gel solves all three problems. It creates a conductive bridge between the pad and your skin, ensuring the current flows smoothly and the pad stays exactly where you place it.

What This Gel Actually Does

Electrode Gel Adhesive has two jobs: it sticks the pad to your skin, and it conducts the electrostimulation current evenly across the entire contact area. Without it, non-stick pads either won't stay in place or will deliver patchy, uncomfortable sensation as the current struggles to find a path through inconsistent contact points.

Apply a thin layer to the entire surface of the electrode pad before placing it on clean, dry skin. The gel will hold the pad securely during your session and wash off easily afterward with warm water.

When You Need This Instead of Regular Conductive Gel

If you're using self-adhesive ElectraPads or similar pads that already have a sticky surface, you don't need this — they conduct and adhere on their own. This gel is for non-adhesive electrode pads, typically older reusable pads or specialty electrodes that require separate conductive medium.

It's also useful for reviving self-adhesive pads that have lost their stick after repeated use. A thin layer of this gel can extend the life of pads that would otherwise need replacing.

How Much to Use

Less is more. A thin, even layer across the pad surface is enough — too much gel and the pad may slide, too little and you'll get uneven conduction. Spread it with a finger until the entire contact area is covered with a translucent layer.

One 50 g tube lasts dozens of sessions depending on pad size. Store with the cap tightly closed to prevent the gel from drying out.

What This Gel Is Not

This is adhesive, not lubricant. It's designed to stick electrode pads to external skin, not for internal use or genital lubrication. If you're using an internal electro probe or want conductive gel for penis loops, use a dedicated conductive lubricant instead — it conducts current without the adhesive properties that would be uncomfortable in those contexts.

For self-adhesive pads like Mystim's ElectraPads, this gel isn't necessary unless you're trying to restore stick to worn pads.
