The black synthetic material has a soft finish that glides smoothly against skin while holding knots securely.

Intensity & Experience Level

Mild to medium, depending on how you use it. The rope itself is soft and manageable, but all bondage requires communication and respect for boundaries. This is an excellent first rope if you want to explore control and surrender without more advanced equipment. For the experienced: it works beautifully combined with cuffs, blindfolds or other bondage accessories to build scenes with varying intensity levels. Always establish a safe-word and discuss limits before you begin.

Material & Quality

Synthetic fibre, braided in a classic bondage structure. Softer than hemp or jute, which makes it gentle on skin even during longer sessions. Synthetic is also more resistant to moisture and requires less maintenance than natural fibres — you can wash it if needed without damaging it. The rope is sturdy enough to hold knots securely, but not so thick that it becomes unwieldy. Black colour conceals any eventual wear and looks elegant.

Fit & Adjustment

Three metres provides flexibility for most basic restraint techniques. You can bind both wrists with length to spare, create simple chest harnesses, or use it to secure arms behind the back. Not quite long enough for more advanced full-body shibari, but that's rarely where a beginner starts anyway. How to Use It

Start calmly. Practise knots on yourself or on a pillow before restraining another person — it gives you a feel for how much tension is needed. The basic rule: you should be able to fit two fingers between rope and skin. Never tie around the neck. Check regularly that fingers or toes aren't going numb or cold — that's a sign circulation is being affected. Always keep scissors within reach for quick release if something feels wrong. Cleaning & Storage

Synthetic fibre tolerates more than natural materials. If the rope needs cleaning: hand-wash in lukewarm water with mild soap, rinse thoroughly and hang to air-dry. Avoid the washing machine — it can cause the rope to tangle or fray. Store coiled or hung on a hook, never in a sealed plastic bag where moisture can accumulate. A well-cared-for synthetic rope lasts for years.
