BDSM Drip Candles 2pcs
Wax play has a reputation for being extreme, but these low-temperature candles are designed to introduce the sensation without the risk. Made from soy wax that melts at a temperature warm enough to feel thrilling, but not hot enough to burn, they let you explore temperature play with control. The molten wax leaves a dark red or black trace on the skin — visual, tactile, and surprisingly intimate.
This set includes one black and one red candle. The colour isn't just aesthetic; watching the wax pool, drip, and cool on skin becomes part of the ritual. It's slow, focused, and requires presence from both partners.
Intensity & Experience Level
Mild to medium intensity. These candles are ideal for beginners to wax play or anyone who wants sensation without sharp pain. The heat is noticeable and arousing, but never crosses into actual burning. If you're curious about temperature play but hesitant about traditional candles, this is where you start.
The psychological element is often more powerful than the physical — anticipation, control, and the visual drama of molten wax all contribute to the experience.
Material & Quality
Both candles are made from pure soy wax, which melts at a significantly lower temperature than paraffin or beeswax. This is what makes them safe for skin contact. Soy wax also cools quickly once it touches the body, so the sensation is brief and controlled.
The wax is unscented, which keeps the focus on the physical sensation rather than competing aromas. It washes off easily with warm water and soap, and doesn't leave a greasy residue like massage oil candles sometimes do.
Fit & Adjustment
Not applicable — these are standard taper candles with an 18.5 cm length. Light them, let a small pool of wax form (usually 30–60 seconds), then tilt to drip. The height gives you control over drip speed and placement.
How to Use It
Light the candle and wait until a small pool of liquid wax forms at the base of the wick — this usually takes less than a minute. Test the temperature on your own wrist first to understand how it feels. When you're ready, hold the candle 30–50 cm above the skin and tilt gently. The higher you hold it, the cooler the wax will be when it lands.
Start with less sensitive areas like the chest, back, or thighs. Avoid the face, genitals, and any broken skin. Move slowly — wax play works best when it's deliberate, not rushed.
Establish a safe-word beforehand, even for mild play. The person receiving should be able to say 'stop' and have it respected immediately. Have a damp cloth nearby to wipe away wax if needed, though it's easiest to let it cool and peel it off.
After play, peel off the cooled wax and wash the skin with warm soapy water. Any remaining traces will come off easily.
Cleaning & Storage
Store the candles upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Soy wax can soften if left in heat, so avoid windowsills or warm rooms.
If wax drips onto fabric or furniture during play, let it cool completely, then scrape off as much as possible. Remaining residue can usually be removed by placing a paper towel over the spot and applying a warm iron — the wax will transfer to the paper. Any colour staining is unlikely but possible on very light fabrics.
Keep the candles away from flammable materials during use, and never leave them unattended while lit.
