Simple materials that do not look like much to the world but fulfill their function. When the velcro is locked, you will not get loose without help. The buoy is around 5cm wide so it feels firm around the wrists, but it is worth knowing that it is too short in circumference to reach around the narrow legs if there was something you were thinking about. The eye mask that comes with it does not feel particularly durable, but it does the job and completely covers the vision.
In its entirety, this is an affordable product. You get what you pay for.
